Default Onkyo 507 or something else?

Would the 507 do good with these:
Polk Audio Monitor 60
Polk Audio CS2
Polk Audio PSW10

I haven't picked out rear speakers yet, but i assume the 507 would have enough power for the setup i'm looking at? I'll probably upgrade to possibly a bigger sub in the future. And replace the "Polk Audio Monitor 60" with something else. Or would i be better off going for the 607? Or any other suggestions?

The 507 is a good receiver, but to future proof yourself you may want the 607 instead. The 507 is only 5.1 whereas the 607 is 7.2. I thought I'd be fine with 5.1, but I ended up going back to 7.1. I just felt like I was missing something when watching my 7.1 movies.

Good point, but not sure if i want to have a 7.2 system. Perhaps a 5.2 system, but if i went with the 507 i would need a y splitter for the subs. But would the 507 be powerfull enough to do that?

As long as your subs have onboard amps, the receiver will be fine.

Yeah, the 507 has ample power so as long as you don't plan to go with 7-channel surround it should do just fine.

I still only plan on doing 5.1. But would a 605 be better or would the 507 be a better choice. I know the 605 has a little higher Watts per channel.
