Never saw this one in theaters. Wasn't too sure I would like the story. I'll at least rent it after it gets released.

Same here, I wanted to but other movies sort of shadowed it at the time.

They have to try to make some of their money back somehow. I will be picking it up on January 26, if that is the actual release date. I was going to see it in the theater, but I figured I'd just put the $9 towards buying it instead. Two reasons I'm buying it:

1) Kate Beckinsale
2) It received the all important Vin Diesel Seal of Approval

Those two reasons are all I need.

DVD Aficionado also has a release date of 1/19/10. I thought the book was great, but so far, it doesn't sound like the movie went very well. I'll netflix it and see.
