Default Licence to Kill/MWTGG Blu ray

I ordered LTK and MWTHGG on blu ray from JB HiFi who are based in Austrailia a few days ago.

They have dispatched them today! £27 for both

Should be Region B/Region Free.

I'll let you know when they arrive

that's awesome CRHHD - if possible - could you let us know if they come with the outer cardboard sleeve too?

I might just pick one up from them - doesn't look like the UK is getting anything before the end of '09

Cheers and thanks for the heads up!

Cool, shipped last night. I guess I should receive 'em about a week after CRHHD.

Unfortunately, mine are all UK cases, so this wouldn't match.

But, I'm getting to the stage now where I just want to buy the movie - and I don't care where I get it - and hey - who really takes the time to stare at their cases anyhow, haha.

Will research Norwegian online shops now, cheers!
Hi there,

As my fellow Norwegian said in an earlier comment the bond collection has been now been released in blu-ray, however theese are NOT the special editions that we all expected, but more a dvd copy over to BD, its actually sad that these BD`s hit the marked since all of us Bond fans and in particular BD fans have awaited a more loaded collection of the "Bond Package".

Sadly some capitalist smart ass in the scandinavian dept who represents the rights of the collection have decided to take a plunge in to the BD marked just to satisfy their one shareholders instead of their extremly large amount of fans(as usual)

However the rumour has it that there is a new "Box" on the way and is to be released in march 2010 with an extremely large amount of extras and uncuts, but it is yet remain to be seen....

I will report if status changes!

Merry Christmas and a happy BD Year

Regards
Stian Johan

I think you'll find they won't have a sleeve. My local JB Hi-Fi has plenty of the Bond films in stock, but none of the catalogue releases have a sleeve. As a matter of fact, the only Bond film to have a slipcase in Australia was the deluxe edition of Casino Royale.

I hope you're not talking about Licence to Kill and The Man With the Golden Gun that was released together with Quantum of Solace? Because these are the same Blu-ray's that was released in the US as a Best Buy exclusive in the box 4 collection.

These are just the same as the other Blu-ray releases.

Both discs showed up yesterday, but couldn't fit in the letterbox! (they are very well packaged I'm told)

Got my mother to pick them up from the post office today, but they are still at my parents house.

My mother has confirmed they are blu ray discs and the large blue M logo is on the front.

When I have them in my hands I'll tell you more (so near yet so far!)

....got them now.

As expected same spec as all previous releases.

TMWTGG - has yellow square with PG
LTK - Blue square with M on front.

No slip covers (personally can't see the point in them)

Perfect!

I ain't fussed about the slipcovers either - I just want the films in HD. But it obviously does bother some folks.

as someone who has all the slipcovers - yes - it would be a shame to have one Bond BD without it.
