Germany 04/01/2010 - the day after. What is going to happen with Steelbooks with no FSK logo?

According to our German insiders, on 1st of April 2010 there should remain no DVDs/BDs in German stores, that would not have the FSK logo printed on the front cover. I wonder what will happen with all those Steelbooks that are not printed this way (some have stickers, but theoretically that should not save them). Does this mean we should expect enormous sales and discounts shortly before April? Any confirmed info about it? Any thoughts?

Maybe a Slipcover, or like Rockn Rolla

This doesnt affect just SteelBook, Its industry wide. There isnt a Whole lot out there without FSK, Amazon has repackaged many, like halloween and affixed the sticker on the case itsself. I am sure they will remedy it, no need for concern. The last thing Germany needs to do is drop prices and really collapse the already unstable value of their steels

I was referring to all the Steelbooks that are in stores right now, not the future releases. Will they be cancelled from retail, etc.?

Yeah, but it's easier and less costy to print another paper cover for the plastic case. Not so easy with a Steelbook - that's why I am concerned The last thing we need is the rising eBay prices for the "OOP non-FSK edition" of our Steels.

To make them NOTICEABLE

As I said some time before, they should put them in the middle of the cover with big red LED-lights circle that'd blink and make noises...

all releases before that date without a logo are allowed to get a sticker. All releases after that date need a not removeable rating logo

What will happen the day after?

The earth will stood still, the machines will take over the human race, we'll get into another ice age and we will all die!

The title of the thread just made me laugh and had to post this!
I'm not laughing at you in anyway my friend (roach_rch), I'm totally kidding. (as usual)

Cheers,
Gui.

Sorry to police but I had a good laugh at this. It's even more glaringly noticeable when there's a spelling mistake with font that large
