My old Kenwood is sick. I'm shocked they don't do home audio anymore. My Onkyo should be in Saturday. I got it for $789.75.

Let me know how you like the streaming internet radio feature. Actually I'd like to know how it works (on screen display?), sound quality, customization (setup on pc prior or on the fly with the receiver), etc. Just about everything there is to know about it actually.

You will be very happy with the 807, I think. It should be a very good receiver. I know I like my 805 a lot. You got it for a good price too. Amazon has it right now for $799, and they're usually one of the cheapest places to buy from.
Kenwood and JVC merged a little while back. So, if you buy a JVC system, you're buying a Kenwood system............... Just an FYI. ![]() Last edited by emoxley; 12-03-2009 at 12:55 AM. |

We had some bad news financially yesterday. We already knew I got no raise this year or next. Now we find out my wife got no Christmas bonus or raise next year. So we went down to getting a SR607.
Got it hooked up last night. I won't have much time until NEXT week to see how it does. IHT |

I didn't get a raise either but I'm thankful I have a job and my family is provided for. Keep your perspective and don't lose sight of what you have, please. Now, having said that, i'm sure you will be happy with the 607, my friend just got one about 2 months ago and he is very, very happy with it. It has lots of HDMI's too; more than my 805! Very well said, Solarrdadd. Though all of us ( including ME ) are infected with the dreaded "upgraditis" virus, in times like these we can just sit back and enjoy the systems we have put together so far. I am certainly enjoying all of the ball games and Christmas programs this month on my Home Theater System and am thankful for what I have. By the way, GREAT PURCHASE, Indian Hills Theater !! I know you will enjoy the 607 as much as I love my 667 !!!
