Default Troma release first Blu-ray next year!

I cant wait to see how this will look. Since Troma's are excellent remasters I dont have to many doubts.

Some trivia, Lloyd Kaufman of Troma had a small part in Rocky (1976) I can't see Troma films looking that great since they are filmed on less than a shoestring. Fun films they are in their own right, but I don't know how much blu will do them justice.

Back in January, Troma released Blood, Boobs, and Beast and Cannibal: The Musical to Dvd in remastered and redone cover art and picture quality. I cant see this looking that bad since Troma can remaster something till it's Grade A. I have no doubt this will look great.

I got the recent anniversary edition of The Toxic Avenger on DVD, and based on the quality of this "remaster" (non anamorphic and ugly) of this company's flagship franchise, I'ill have to see some steller reviews before I buy. That said, if you've never seen Cannibal! The Musical, you owe it to yourself to rent it at least to hear the commentary track (best. commentary. ever.).

Haven't been up to date on Troma for some years, and this title is new to me. Love the artwork, and I'm looking forward to see this on Blu-ray!

Troma inherited the Moviola that Rocky was cut on, and virtually, if not all of their films were cut on it Lloyd is very much into the theatrical experience, which is why he shot all of their movies on 35mm. I'm kinda sad the largest screen I've seen some of their movies (Poultrygeist was the last one) on is smaller than some HT screens people have here
