Good PS3 game

Hey guys - Looking to grab a PS3 tonight and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good game or two to pick up with it to play exclusive to PS3? Thanks for any suggestions!

I dunno why, but I find Uncharted 1 slightly overrated, and most of my friends agree.. I enjoyed it, but too much repetition in the gameplay (run into a bunch of guys, kill, continue - like arenas), at least IMO

Aside from the fact that the OP was looking for PS3 exclusives, Dead Space is pretty awesome.

Any game mentioned in this thread will not cause any disappointment on your end. But I would get either MGS4 or if you want to surprise friends with how much fun a game can be playing with friends, Little Big Planet. But really, even with Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, or Infamous, you can't go wrong.

Dead Space

True, but I'm not sure what the alternatives would be. Either a) cut the game down to 2 hours, or b) every other time, instead of running into guys, killing them and continuing, you run into nothing, do nothing, and continue.

I lucked out and played it while I was too busy for games in grad school, so I only got to dabble in it in small little chunks of time, so it worked perfectly for that, without feeling too repetitive.

As for the thread, I'd recommend the same things everyone else has:

For cheaper games that are still great:

I wouldn't recommend MGS4 unless the OP has played the others in the series.

I think i might be the only one but I didnt like MGS4. The graphics were great and the gameplay was good, but I guess Im more into the Shoot em up games, Less stealth the better, I purchased MGS4 on black friday for like $15 and sold it the other day for $17.50. I loved Resistance 2(Never played the first one) And Dead Space was amazing. I still have Uncharted 2 unopened from black friday also but I want to play uncharted first i believe.

Also i should say i only played a little bit of Metal Gear Solid 1 on the playstation, so maybe that had something to do with it

MGS4 really is as love-it-or-hate-it a game as there is available today. It's takes some patience, especially if you don't want to watch the cutscenes and can understand why someone wouldn't like it but for those same reasons are why I love it. IMO, it's better than Uncharted 2 and not by a little bit.

The most Brutal game on PS3, which also happens to be an exclusive.
