OK, we know Mr. Cameron's "Avatar" is a given for coming out on BD in 2010.
And, of course, his "Terminator" and "Terminator 2" are already out on BD. If I understand right, his "Aliens" will, of course, be included in the ALIEN QUADRILOGY BD set that is expected to come out in 2010. I also understand that "The Abyss" BD is due in 2010 as well. But I'm wondering if anyone has any guess as to when we'll see "True Lies" (Fox) on BD? And last, but not least, how about "Titanic" (Paramount) on BD? Any guess on this one? I'd like to hope that "Titanic" will be out before April 15, 2012 -- the 100th anniversary of the great tragedy. |

Paramount does have the North American rights to "Titanic". A Sapphire Series is plausible, but if they do that -- boy they better not screw it up!!!

It'll be awesome if Fox & Paramount would release Titanic with all cut scenes back-to-their-places version!!!
It'll be nice if they release it on April 15, 2012 ![]() |

Rambo: First Blood Part II is already out too, I belive Cameron wrote that script...or at least he wrote a draft, Cameron is also responsible for the organic webshooters in the spider-man films (the only part of his script that made it to the sam raimi screenplay)

Very true. The fact that Fox still to this date never released an anamorphic special edition of this film on dvd baffles me. They need to correct that error with a top notch Blu release asap.

Yes It's true, I would love a BD of TITANIC. However, a release on the anniversary of the tragedy would be sleezy.

People need to realize it wasn't Paramount that screwed up the transfer, it was Universal. Paramount was just the North American DVD and Blu-ray distributor. I don't understand why Paramount would put this out in their Sapphire Series though. They want the Sapphire Series to be great movies with the best possible audio and video and if they couldn't get that from Universal they should have either refused to release the current version or not have it as part of the Sapphire Series.
