Gran Turismo Academy Time Trial - Blu-ray.com Leader Board!

On 17th December exclusively via the PlayStation store, we will be launching the GT Academy 2010 Time Trial. The time trial will be the only way into this year’s Academy, and if you’ve got what it takes it could be the start of a life-changing journey.

The Gran Turismo Academy Time Trial is being released tomorrow in the Euro store, and I think it would be fun we get everyone to post their best lap time here so we can compile a Blu-ray.com leader board! It would be cool if there was some way we could officially check each other's lap time, but all I ask is for your honesty when posting! The time trial lasts until 24/1/2010 so we should see all our times improve as time goes on.

I will have to do two leaderboards;

This best time will be a composite of two separate runs – one with the tuned vehicle and the other with the non-tuned version

So post your times for both runs, or just the one.. Whatever you prefer!

I'll go through the thread each day and update the leader board!

Remember, please state if you are using the tuned car, or the non-tuned car, when posting your lap times..

Hehe I am playing a good bit of it at the moment alright, and hopefully that will help for this! But I wouldn’t count on it.. I'm sure there will be some excellent times recorded on this site alone!

As per below, the Time Trial demo is now available from the JP store! So those who get it early, start posting those times!

So here's the official leaderboards looks like the Irish section has a spanish guy and a japanese guy in he top two spots, have to try and do something about that.

Not many people on the leaderboards atm but I'm sure by this evening they'll be jammed. The tuned car time will definately mess me up since it looks like it's an average of the two so look for me somewhere near the bottom

Cheers man.. I'll update the best times recorded on the GT website tonight so that we can see how we are all comparing! (don’t have access in work). I will then put the leader board together for members here. I'll put the first leader board up at about 8pm GMT. Should be very interesting!!

Its probably nothing more than a glitch on the leaderboards. I mean, who would want the top 2 spots on one section of the leaderboards?

the spanish and japanese dudes appear on every leaderboard and since the winner last year was some spanish dude it must be the times of the two winners from last year.

Maybe they're not allowed to enter again otherwise I'm sure they'd kick everyone's assses again, they were probably asked to give their times in advance just to give others a target at the start of the competition

Yeah good shout.. Maybe so! Prob there to give us an idea of what time is likely to win this year..

I cant wait to get in front of my logitech G25! Does anyone else here use this for GT? Im at work though so wont get to try it out for awhile. But....I am feeling a little "sick"...might go tell my boss

Edit - I just went to the PSStore and it's not there... Yet,... There are people who have rankings already in the USA.... How's that?....
