Default Only let trusted members/certain amount of posts to review a movie

In a lot of reviews for movies that people hate like Ben 10 or most kids/Disney movies people always go and give it the lowest ratings possible and just trash the movie and will give it the worst ratings in video and audio when they clearly don't deserve it.

When clicking their profile they have never even posted in the forum. I think they just make accounts to trash and bring a movies score down for fun. I think that blu-ray.com should make a system where only trusted members can review a movie or you need like 10 or more posts to start reviewing a movie.

I don't agree with a post limit. This site is much more than just the forum. I know I didn't join the forum for about a year after finding and bookmarking this site.

Furthermore, I think people are smart enough to read through reviews and decide when someone is bunk. That's also what review ratings are for. If you don't like a reviewer's review, mark it down. Like it? Mark it up. Good process, I feel.

Yeah I do that but it just brings down the over all rating of the movie. Yeah I know it's not a big deal I only read blu-ray.com official review but still. If I hated a movie to death but it had an amazing PQ/AQ I would still rate it fair.

Also thinking about the post limit yeah that would be unfair I also used the site a few weeks/month until I posted on the forum.

I understand what you're saying, for sure. I mean, it makes one wonder what some people are thinking.

Haters come in all shapes and colors. These haters can sometimes make is (wait for it)... Blu.

I agree, but the opposite is also true. There are many people that will give a release all 5s because they're fanboys for the movie or possibly a paid shill.

I think one can usually see right away which ones are the thrashers and which ones are the fanboys....I don't bother with those reviews. We'll never get away from those kinds of review postings, so just ignore. Although, I'll admit, it's aggrevating to see.
