Anyone using PS3 and Yamaha V661 amp at 1080p24? - Blu-ray Forum

I want to buy this receiver, but I need to know if you select the 1080p 24hz output on the PS3, will the receiver pass it through to the display? Thx.

Does your HDTV accept 24Hz?

Yes it does. I have verified it using a borrowed Denon 2808CI. I was able to send 24hz to my display. The picture looked very clean with no jitters. I don't think I can go back to 1080p60hz. Thisi s why I need to know if the v661 can do 24hz.
