Default I want to project a movie outside! Any Tips?

Okay so i have a panny AE3000, and it's set up in my basement, but i am moving at the end of the month, and i won't be in my next permanent set up til the beginning of March. So before i set my projector back up, i wanna have like a drive-in kinda thing, and project the movie on the side of my parents house.

Anyone have any tips, on what to watch out for, or any tips or good ideas to accomplish this goal?

I have used my projector outside during the summer and I actually moved my screen (12 foot wide) outside for the summer. I made a homemade ceiling mount with the precise measurements (for my Infocus X10), and designed it so the projector can slide out and remove the bolts, making it very easy to remove. I even made a temporary anamorphic lens for it too (used wiring and a sign to hold the prisms). I would suggest making a ceiling mount designed to be removed , such as a slider. And to have a portable, or easy to remove screen installed outside (it can be a cheap white screen) and I would recommend a pull down screen, also which is cost effective. Be careful if there are insects flying on your screen (we were able to clean most of the screen though). Even in 16:9, the projector was bright enough to light up the screen (As long as there is no lights around the area), although brightness still plays a role, but this shouldn't be a problem if you live in a rural area.

Check the weather !

But seriously sounds cool got any pics of where your doing it? I've seen inflatable screens for outdoor use but I'm not sure what they cost. Good luck.

If you don't mind spending some money the blackdiamond 2 screen.

Hell, if you can afford it get one for inside.

as Ricky Bobby says "It's available at Wal-Mart". Don't know how good it is though.
