I think this has potential to look great as long as there's no noise reduction artifacts. Before Artisan Entertainment folded and was bought by Lionsgate they did a whole new remaster of it and even included a 6.1 DTS track if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure how it would hold up in 1080P but here's hoping.

I liked The Running Man but I wouldn't buy it for BD.

Must have had the original DVD. The 2-disc edition had a remastered picture and DTS-ES sound. It looked and sounded excellent. Still does. I sold mine off in anticipation of the new release. I hope they don't let me down and DNR this thing to kingdom come like Near Dark.

I think this movie has the potential to blow me away more than anything else. The last time I saw this movie was on pirate VHS. I don't think i've ever seen the DVD at all. Certainly not in its OAR.

I haven't seen this movie in a loooong time. I did see it in the theater in 1987.

Looking forward to the Blu...thankfully its 13.99 lol

I last saw this movie on VHS as a rental way back in 87-88

I won't be getting the BD, just not enough viewing time out of this one for me to make it worth the purchase. Fun movie however

I just read that all the Lionsgate titles, which are released on Feb 9 which are: Running Man, Hard Rain, Drop Zone and Phantom will be regioncoded. I saw this on a pretty reliable site. I still hope it was a mistake though, because usually the older Lionsgate titles aren't coded

Not as long as you but I don't think I have seen this movie once since 1990.

This is one of Arnold's cheesier movies, but it's better than Red Heat, which has already been released.

This was a big guilty pleasure of mine, not a great Arnold movie, but this one has stuck with me. I always loved the hockey scene
