Feb 9 is a nice day for catalog titles.. In addition to Running man they are also releasing "Hard Rain" and "Drop Zone".. all of which I will buy..

My wife hates Hard Rain for some reason but I will get it. I can watch whenever she is not around. Also Running Man. Arnie and his one liners are a hoot.

Have you seen it recently? I too liked it when it came out, but I watched it again a couple of months ago. It...didn't age very well. Still, like Network and others, the social commentary is pretty accurate.

i LOVE running man, its a title ive been waiting for since i got a blu-ray player.
will most likely also pick up hard rain. its no classic but i remember it being at least a rewatchable sunday action movie

I'm betting on this having a worse transfer than Terminator and Total Recall.

I will be passing on this one.. I have a feeling the transfer will not be that good.

I'm sure the transfer will be bad, but

1. It will be better than the DVD, if even marginally.
2. Do you ever expect there to be a "completely remastered" version of this? Sure, you can expect that someday with Terminator and Total Recall, but probably not this.

We all know this won't look that good on Blu Ray, but this film is so awesome I just know I want to add it to my Blu Ray collection!
