Hello every one.
Recently, I have bought a blu-ray movie from Amazon.COM. The movie is the hurt locker. The item has already been shipped, and the delivery estimate was for january 22. I know the estimate can be wrong, but I was wondering how long it usually takes for a package to get here, shipped from amazon.com. Can anyone give me a better estimate? ( I live in alberta, Canada) I tried tracking the package through DHL, but it says the tracking number is wrong. On amazon it says that it is in TRANSIT. However ot has been on transit since January 14th already :/ Can anyone help me? Any kind of feedback is welcome. Amazon.com's customer service is a joke...just call them and complain. Tell them you want to talk to their manager and I'm sure they'll snap into listening to you. Tell them you're pissed that you spent your hard-earned cash on this and it should be there or you should at least have a valid tracking number. They'll then listen, make sure it's a phone call though and not an e-mail. They never listen to people through e-mail.

![]() Do you think I should order the movie from amazon.ca now? I ordered from them many times, and never had any problems. This movie is a pain in the ass to find, and I am dieing to see it XD What should I do lol? |

Where are you in Alberta? Had no problems finding this day one at HMV in Calgary and they had plenty of copies and still do.
Best to just wait it out a few days though to avoid any hassle of returns and if you did amazon.ca you would have to wait a little while longer anyway. Wouldn't worry too much about no changes to the tracking info on amazon.com since even with amazon.ca there have been plenty of times were the info hasn't updated for me through amazon.ca or Canada Posts site and showed up fine. And it isn't like you are weeks beyond what they said and only 1 business day. Personally I would never order from the US period. I've had amazing customer service experierience with amazon.com; once my UP blu had a slight glitch, not very noticeable but I emailed them anyway and within the hour they had another copy shipped to me with no extra charge and they let me keep the original. Another instance they credited me $10 for an item that was two days late and I didn't even bring it up, just received an email about of the blue about the credit.
In terms of tracking, the tracking number that they give you never work, it usually stays at in transit even after you've received it for a few days |

As for the tracking, I know amazon.com tracking system is not very well updated. So I tried using the ID tracking number they gave me, to track through DHL website. Problem is, the number does not work at all XD So that worried me a bit. Ah well...if I find a copy at HMV, or future shop this Tuesday, I am gonna get it right away. Once I get my copy from amazon.com, I am just gonna sell it. I know LOT of people looking for this movie XD thanks again guys ![]() |

Yeah I tend to be the opposite. Future Shop and Best Buy are not convenient for me so I tend to always go to HMV even if they do charge a little more 90% of the time. But find that HMV are much better than anybody else at getting Blu-Ray in as well so the extra cost doesn't bug me. The only time I don't like it is missing out on Future Shop steelbooks and stuff like that. They need to space these damn stores out better in this city
