Default WTF HP and HDDVD in bed

WTF the BDA needs to wake up and smell what's going on. If you go to HP to the laptop side, all you get is HDDVD, and even free upgrade to it WTF. I know Sony and Panasonic can push Toshibas offering to the side with HP.

Old news. Try HP Desktop, they are all Dual-format.
HP Pavilion (consumer line) notebook is HD DVD exclusive.
but have you ever had a look at its Business range???
It's Blu-ray exclusive. Try this: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=19375

I know it's rather annoying. I am a HP fans, and I ended up buying laptop with HD DVD, but will replace it with BD drive I purchased separately. It worked with BD.

HP is format neutral. They were originally BD only backers, but also jumped in with HD DVD later in 2005 (partially due to the initial lack of managed copy in the BD specification, which HP really wanted to see.)

There are PC models that have BD from HP. The also sell a few standalone devices. You will see more products with HD DVD, BD or combo HD/BD mechanisms in the future.

The difference is so clear in the PC drive market. One burns HD disks, the other doesn't. Why the hell would you want a read only HD drive in your computer.
