Nobody seems to have mentioned the chase between Jeff Bridges and James Woods in Against All Odds. It's a good one, but I consider the one from To Live and Die in L.A. to be the best.

I am really pleased to see this one on here. Love this movie, and the chase scene is great. Singleton really nailed a whole vibe and setting with that movie, and I feel it's extremely underrated.

Yeah I really enjoyed the movie a lot. If John Singelton would stick to making movies more like this, he would be a hotter director in Hollywood. Instead we get 2 fast 2 furious and Baby Boy and then a good one like this.

After Boyz in the Hood, I think he kinda got pigeon holed to a certain type of movie (Urban), and that stinks because he is a talented director.

His movies are usually okay but he can do better as evidenced by Four Brothers.

"Total Recall" (1990) has car chase on Earth and car chase on Mars.

"Star Trek" (2009) has kinder of car chase with futuristic cop bike chasing, James T. Kirk

Does the speeder bike chase in “Return of the Jedi” (1983) count.

The 6th Day (2000)

Godzilla (1997) had kinder of chase with Godzilla chasing after the taxi cab.

Demolition Man (1992) high speed chase along the freeway

Lethal Weapon (1987) Riggs chasing bad drug guys on foot
Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) Riggs and Murtaugh chasing money laundries

Bullit, while some 30-40 years, old still is one of the best. I also like the car chases in the Bourne movies.

Vanishing Point (the original).

Saw it as a double header with the French Connection at a drive-in years ago. One of the few times the second movie (VP) impressed me more than the main feature.
