HA! You guys bring up some good points. I think "lol" is worse than "ha" (and I think we're all in agreement there).

I will use a few IMisms, but they're pretty rare and really just more of your standard acronym than true IMism. It's the "lol" "omg" and shit like "newayz" that drive me CRAZY.

That was the favourite Opips2 quote thread, my gf and a friend was wondering what the hell was going on with me.
They just smiled at me, because they knew I was really tired and for some reason that can really cause you to laugh at nothing, anybody else experience that?

I do laugh at my own jokes, but more to the applicable point I am using laughing smiles to signify that I am not being serious.
