HD-DVD Radio Advertising - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone else in other markets heard any radio advertising for HD-DVD and players? My local sports radio station starting airing these yesterday with one of the afternoon jockeys doing the spot. This is on both the Tosh Players, the 5 Disc give-away is mentioned and he says HD-DVD about 5 times thru-out the ad!!!!

I am tuning them out now!

yes. heard one while ordering a pogo.

it only said it once, and said it fairly fast- it could have meant and upscaling DVD player as well... who knows.

I lost my appetite though...

Hey davidPS3, I heard the HD-DVD ad on KJR 950 this morning which caught me by surprise. Is Blu ray being advertised on the radio anywhere? If not, why not? HD-DVD maybe is being more agressive because they are behind, but the point is they are being agressive. I would like to see Blu ray throwing money around instead of sitting back HOPING HD-DVD doesns't make a big run at them because right now HD-DVD doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
For Warner to possibly switch Blu has to KILL this season, the normal 2-1 ratio is not going to do it in my eyes. Right now HD-DVD is like a cockroach, hard to get rid, but it doesn't seem the BDA is doing enough to try and squash them.
