I have the latest firmware, autoplay is activated however it only works if the ps3 is already on and i insert a disc. It doesn't run when you switch the ps3 on, the disc in there doesn't do anything.

That's the exact auto-play I wanted from day one... I'm very happy they changed it. At least half the time I'd need to quit out of whatever auto-played when I first turned the console on because my daughter would have been playing some other game before me, or I left in a Blu-ray movie or something. I disabled it until they changed it to its current functionality. Now it's fantastic.

I didn't like it autoplaying when turning the system on so I had disabled the feature but if it's only autoplaying now when inserting the disc, I'll re-enable it. Anyway, seems like they should provide an option for handling it (autoplaying) either way just to satisfy both camps.
