Default My Bedroom System

Finally decided to take a few quick pics of my bedroom system.

Sharp Aquos LC-46D82U
Explorer 4250 HD cable box
Yamaha RX-V663
Onkyo M-5140 amp
Xbox 360 Pro, PS3 Slim
Dell E520 HTPC
Def Tech BP7006, CLR2300, BP1.2X
SVS 20-39PC+ on a Subdude HD
Panamax M8-HT-Pro
Harmony One

This system sounds amazing and the SVS 20-39 PC+ really rocks my bedroom hard.

Looks good. I suggest some racetracks to hide those surround speaker wires. Also make a gallery of your ht pictures for comments/ratings.

Thanks

How do I make a gallery? I thought about some racetracks, but it's in my bedroom and the wires don't really bother me, it's not like many people ever see it anyway.

Under your screen name on the left side you see ht gallery (0). Click on the "0" hyperlink. From there create a new gallery (name it whatever you want) and upload pictures to it. The pictures have to be smaller than 4mb or they won't load (it will say images uploaded successfully if over 4mb but they don't show up). I thought the same thing on some things in my bedroom but neatness goes a long way to greater love of your setup if things are done properly.

Whats involved with racetracks? I mean I know what they look like, but are they glued or drilled to the wall?

There are drill holes in the middle (at least on mine) for the base and the cover slides over it and the wires. If you check my last picture of my bedroom gallery you can get somewhat of an idea of how it works.

Nicely done my friend. You know what I like about your system more than anything?

It's the fact you said: "This system sounds amazing" (part quote).

And that is what it's all about!

John

Thanks, I'll add the photos to the gallery when I get home. As far as racetracks, I don't want to put any more holes in the wall than there already are, less work to do patching up later on. If I really wanted to get crazy I'd just run the wires through the wall so you can't see them at al, but I'm not doing all that, not worth the effort and expense.

It's actually NEXT I think...I need to finish it. I haven't read my books for months now. I've got 10 or so I need to read. Maybe I should read a little right before I go to bed. Get into the routine.
