HDD and their reviews - Blu-ray Forum

Yet again have HDD showed their bias in reviews toward HD-DVD. Now it's not only "For HD-DVD fans only" Peter M. Bracke but also "good enough" Joshua Zyber that is doing it. They have recently reviewed Spider-Man: The High-Definition Trilogy (Blu-ray) and Carlito's Way (HD DVD). Both movies get the exact same average but Spiderman gets by some reason one half star less in Overall grade and the Bottom Line "Worth a look" while Carlito's Way gets a half star more than Spider Man and the Bottom Line "Highly Recommended".

Two movies reviewed directly after each other gets the exact same average, Blu-ray gets bottom line "Worth a look" and HD-DVD gets "Highly recommended". I have numerous of examples just like this from HDD.

I have started to click the link and if I see it's Bracke that did the review, I just move on. No need to read. No way of knowing if the review is legit or not so why base my judgment on it?!

HDD have now after I posted in their feed back forum change both the number of stars in Overall Grade and the Bottom line. Both movies now have the same Overall Grade but they give the HD-DVD title "Highly Recommended" and the Blu-ray movie "Recommended". The sites tries to be neutral but shows it's bias toward HD-DVD again and again.

I preffer the folks from the manroom or dvd talk. they give better reviews
