Sherlock Holmes Blu-ray Live Community Screening with Robert Downey Jr.

A Live Community Screening via BD-Live will be held in April to celebrate the release of Guy Ritchie's hit film.

Robert Downey Jr. will be hosting a Live Community Screening of 'Sherlock Holmes' on April 1, 2010 at 9:00PM EST (6:00 PM Pacific).

As usual, participants can submit questions through their computers and web enabled devices. Only the first 100,000 BD-Live members who sign up will be eligible for a spot in this event

Warner's BD Live site page had a place to sign up for HBP, but u didn't really need to. I joined like three minutes late due to a number of factors but it let me in, though none of my questions were answered......

I signed up online days before but perhaps my lateness affected my questions being answered.......

I love these! I've attended the Watchmen and TS ones and have enjoyed both of them. Nothing could beat Zack Snyder insulting my lame question, but hopefully this chat with RDJ will be just as interesting.

With the Live Screening occurring so soon after release, I'm gonna skip ordering online (AMZ's price is too high anyway) and get to a B&M store release day to ensure my ability to attend the screening (already signed up) and getting a slipcover.

What is happening? Is it giving you a "System Alert" message?

I had to create a new WB BD-Live account in order to participate. However, now it's too late to register for the event, so a new account won't help.

If you are getting the permanent spinning disc icon and are using a PS3, try deleting the BD DATA entry for Sherlock Holmes in the XMB folder. When reloading the disc, it will reload the data and you may be able to get past the icon and still join.

They just announced that the event will be recorded and posted in a few days for anyone who may miss the event live. So, you will be able to watch it, just not "participate."
