Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever Blu-ray

Days after a killer virus consumed his friends, Paul emerges from a ditch by a river. Though his body has been ravaged by the virus, Paul is determined to survive - and to warn others of the danger. But a water bottling plant has already distributed contaminated water to the local high school. Nice, I hope it ends up being region free, I'm one of the few people that loved the first one.

Then maybe some day the US will get a directors cut done the way Ti West wanted it done.

I got the first Cabin Fever on German BD and it has a terrible English audio track!!
It has a strange distortion throughout making the voices sound like chipmunks.
It is so bad that I couldn't watch it longer than 30 minutes.

So I'm not getting this German BD also from Sunfilm.
In April there's a Dutch BD of CB2.

I had the same problem plus I would get a "cracking" noise from the rear speakers.
I bought a new 7.1 AV-Receiver a few months ago and when I tested the Cabin Fever Blu-ray it played just fine. I think my old 5.1 Receiver couldn't handle Cabin Fever's 7.1 dts audio track.

Hate to bump this, but does anyone know if this ended up being region free or not?

Didn't play on my Region A so I assume it's B locked.

Is the Dutch disc better or is it identical to the German disc?
