The point of April's fools is that you suppost to fool people, putting it in this thread kinda defeats the object

I get the point of the thread, to stop people getting annoyed, but it kills the enjoyment.

We don't need dozens of threads tomorrow littered with fake news....it has happened in years past and can get out of hand Most of the news ends up being rather comical anyhow so this will be a fun place to post them all and read them. If we see threads that end up being declared false, they will be merged here...so, if you read something about George Lucas reviving the DROIDS TV show and turning it into a feature film, might be best to post in here

Maybe it will turn out like last April Fool's Day when some site posted a fake story about Men in Black 3 going into production soon, which people kept using as a source for the rest of the year. Of course now MIB 3 might be going into production soon if Will Smith chooses to make it, but it got annoying when people kept linking to a story dated April 1, 2009 that had been an admitted joke.

One more thing to add...I would bet--as I'm sure most of you would--that almost any unexpected or otherwise shocking news announced tomorrow would undoubtedly turn out to be fake...in terms of catching what is real or not, having one big thread versus several separate ones shouldn't make a huge difference (except in managing all the stories, thus the point)...you guys are all smart, I'm sure you can figure out what seems out of place and what doesn't regardless of what thread the news happens to be posted in

And for the record...not all news in here necessarily has to be 100% fake....you can discuss stories that seem sketchy but haven't been completely shot down yet. If the news turns out to be true, create a thread!

You know what would be funny. If some real, and important news actually broke tomorrow, nobody would believe it. Ha ha. People would say "No way, its a gag".

The Faucet - Sequel to the underground smash miss the Fountain. Starring Chuck Norris as the brother of Hugh Jackman who is now facing the same fears as he tries to save his boyfriend from the measles by goin back in fourth in time while encountering several obstacles and running into several familiar faces such as Marty McFly in 1855. While Chuck tries to get the measle antidote, he gets into a fight with Biff and is almost taken out but he is then saved by Doc who shocks Biff with an old school version of the flex capacitor! Finally as Mr. Norris gets back to the year 10,000 BC he encounter Camille Belle who is still half dead form getting her wig split with that bow and arrow, therefore Chuck tries to take advantage but then guess who comes out of the time machine.....................yes thats right Orson Welles! Chuck then escapes and heads back to the year 2010 only to realize that he left the antidote and mistakenly brought with him the liquid sports almanac that has the answers to all the future GI Joe & Transformer sequels. His world slowly fades while watchin a bootleg copy of the original film "The Fountain!"
