It's not true.

It's really Uwe Boll handling the reboot.

Georgie is so protective of his movies, he's said the only person he'd let handle them now would be Spielberg. So I doubt this was real. Snyder isn't THAT good.

Personaly I think it owiuld kinda cool. Cuz you have 2 different types of thigns going on. The 1st 3 are all new movies new tech, new action new look so-on and so-on. The last 3 are obviously older in looks sound, and everything. Persoanlly I think it wuld real good idea. (let the slamming beign )

I guess you and I are not among those who consider 1-3 to be remakes. I hope Lucas passes control of SW to his kids under the condition they never allow SW to be done again. Sure would be nice.

they're completely separate movies, who actually considers them remakes?

I think he means that it's set apart.

If they went on to remake episodes 4-6, it could be argued that 1-3 were attached to the remade ones and the original 3 from the 70s and 80s would again be able to stand alone, unique.

As far as movies being remade, 4-6 seem like a better idea than most, if only to tie them up with the style of 1-3. Not saying it's good or needed, but it wouldn't be absolutely terrible I think. A better alternative than the "special edition" tinkering, at the very least.

ahhh gotya. yeah makes sense. i'm sure star wars will be remade someday, once all the fans of the beloved originals are long gone . i just hope i'm not around to see it.

Wow... if there was ever an April Fool's Day that ruined itself with the very concept of the prank, it is THIS article!

I'm not sure which is funnier. The fact that they tried pulling this joke, or the part where they said episodes 1-3 are better than 4-6.
