Default Denon no sound..

Here I am with another problem, ive got a Denon 1910, with 7.1 set up. All componets are hooked up through the Denon. When I turn it on cold, whatever componet im using, ive got no sound. If I turn it off..then back on, the sound is fine. Is there some kind of setting I may of screwed up or tweeked for this to happen?!

Thx.

This a wild guess. You may have a hand shake issue. Turn on the receiver first. Wait for 30 seconds or more. Then turn on the other components. My Denon receiver needs a few seconds to start functioning and reach steady state.

Like BD said sounds like a handshake issue. I think the prescribed order for turning on devices is 1. Display 2. Receiver 3. Input Device (Blu Ray, CD player, etc.)
