Australia Scream & Mimic (region: B) Bluray Discs

How are these? what frames and resolutions are they in? some reviewers complain about grain..on Scream bluray disc.. is it really bad or its it only noticeable on bigger TV HD set?

Is grain a problem or it meant to be there?
how r these disc in terms of sharpness, colour, and audio mix

The specs on the site are correct (i subbed them).

They look and sound good compared to the DVDs. The price is nice and low for those two titles too. Probably all comes down to the whole 'grain' thing, whether you can handle it or not.

Magna Pacific... oh God. Dirt cheap but for a reason. The releases of theirs I was impressed with was The Princess Bride, Bubba Ho-Tep and (to a lesser extent) Beyond Re-Animator. They were good for lesser known films, but some of their releases reflected that. They took a big hit when they were taken over by Destra and Destra promptly imploded. They're still around now but you don't see much from them any more.

Slightly off topic, but The Princess Bride... that is a film begging for a quality Blu-ray release that is region B or free. The US release is apparently quite good, but unfortunately region locked.

As for Scream, I'm kinda hoping that the announcement of Scream 4 will now mean that in a year to 18 months time there will be a re-mastered trilogy release. I'll be in when that happens.
