Default Bluray Discs at Fry's

This is going directly from memory so please forgive any errors...

Spotted at Fry's today:

25GB BD-R:

Memorex $20
Sony $20
Panasonic $22
TDK $18

50 GB BD-R

Panasonic $50

25GB BD-RE:

TDK $23 (?)
Panasonic $30
Fuji $25

HD DVD 15GB

Memorex $20

The (?) means I am a little vague on price from memory...

Oddly, Outpost (Frys online) has the Memorex 25GB BD-RE for $28 and Sony BD-RE for $25 that were not in store. Outpost also has the burner (Sony) but I did not see that in store either.

With only a 25% adder, it seems to me that BD-RE might turn out to be quite good value for money.

Also the TDK BD-RE were in 'harder to steal' blister packs a little reminiscient of the old CD long boxes.

This market is certainly starting to move I think
