When will Superman III and IV be released in blu? - Blu-ray Forum

Since the release of Superman I and II in blu in Nov., 2006, there is no news about the release of Superman III and IV in blu so far. Does anybody know Warner is going to put these titles in blu in near future? I hope to have the four Superman titles in blu to complete my collection.

I would love to know the same thing. I would like to get rid of my standard definition Superman box.

Going by the latest WB chat over at Home Theater Forum, it will be years before we see anymore Superman films on Blu-ray.

I assume they would hold anything back for a new Superman movie, but that could be several years down the line given the studio's incompetent handling of the franchise.

Hopefully never. Those sequels were the downfall of the series. Notice that the special effects get worse instead of better.
