very excited to hear and see this. in the other thread they have a link to a youtube video (that i guess is what you see before Iron Man 2) that doesn't show much - in typical fashion - but it definitely has a Cloverfield feel to it. If it's not a Cloverfield sequel, someone might want let Abrams know someone is about to infringe on a copyright law it seems

Nope, sorry. Cloverfield came out January 2008. Iron Man come out May 2008.

Well thats when the trailer premiered but i am sure after that it was shown before many other movies.

I don't know what it is about monster movies, but I absolutely LOVE them. I used to think it would be so cool to make a monster movie grounded in being more realistic, Cloverfield did almost everything I had hoped for

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that no one seemed to be all that concerned with the monster ATTACKING THE CITY! It was mentioned in passing several times, but BETH BETH BETH BETH WE NEED TO GET BETH took over the entire plot. I would love a sequel or prequel to focus more on what's actually going on. I can't WAIT to see the trailer
