The UK/Australian version of Inglorious Bastards actually has exactly the same encode as the US version. In fact at the beginning of the movie the US R rating appears.

You mean for both video and audio right?

What about the Simpsons movie?

It'll be the same as the rights in both countries are owned by fox.

If you're looking for differences, I've heard the German version has an additional scene in the bar that was cut from the U.S. film (but included as an extra)

Thx for the comment, but that's not a lot of assurance that it's the same. There are lots of releases where the US and UK versions have different picture and audio bitrates.

Well, I have seen both and couldn't see any difference. Both are near reference vq and aq. I would be very, very suprised if they where different trasnfers. The difference between the casses your reffering to is that the disributing studio is probably different, which is not the case with The Simpsons Movie.

In this case the US, UK and Australian are literally the same disc. Down to the bit, for audio and video. Same extras, same subtitle options. As to your comment about US/UK often having different bitrates, it's often a neglible difference that stems from one of the releases having additional audio tracks or different subtitle options, which affect bitrate and total disc size slightly, but yield no tangible difference in quality. That's usually the case if it's the same distributor, e.g. Universal or Fox.
