Blu ray versions difference

Hello people i will right this because i feel very frustrated about what happened to me with blu rays stuff and i dont expect you to understand me or to understand what i am talking about because i didnt find nothing about blu ray version in the forum and i think it is the most important thing of blu rays.

i bought a PIONEER BDR-202 expecting that everything is going to be find, i though that you can just buy a bd-r and burn it. but after i bought 5 bd-r and 5 bd-r DL i try it and when i put the bd-r inside the pioneer nothing happend.
after that i realize that exist some versions difference and my burner doesnt work with versions 1.2, 1.0 it works only with 1.1 and if it is a BD-R DL has to be 2.0 but this is not the worst part, later i bought more 5 BD-R version 1.1 SONY (the one who have a laptop computer in the front case) and it didnt work again i dont know why but i'm shore it is not the burner because the burner works find with Verbatim BD-R 1.1.
i had some trouble also with TDK Durabis version 1.2 and a MEMOREX version 1.2.
it will be very helpful if you know some bluray burner that is compatible with ALL THE BLU-RAY VERSIONS, Thanks

The BDR-202 doesn’t write dual-layer BD discs.

Ensure you have installed the latest firmware.
