Default My 5.1 Home(Bedroom) Theatre Setup

So two weeks ago I began the process of overhauling my small (9 by 7 feet) bedroom into a more spacious and comfortable bedroom theater.
Starting Furniture: Desk
Bed
Bookshelf
Wall Shelf

Tasks Completed: Wall Mount TV
Paint Room
Remove Furniture
Re-arrange bed and media center
Mount front speakers and route sub wiring under the floor
Run all wires in the wall to the back of the tv
Remove blinds and replace with curtains

Problems Run Into Along the Way:
While running wires in the wall my friend and I realized there was a horizontal stud (fire-block) that didn't show up on the stud finder and had to cut an access panel in the closet behind the wall to make a notch in the fire-block to run the cables.
Finding Curtains that fit my windows and blocked out light: let me tell you, I spent a whole day just driving around to different stores to find curtains that would fit my odd shaped windows and would block out the light as well as match the colors of the room, ended up finding perfect set at target of all places

Tasks to be completed: Conceal speaker wires completely
Mount Rear surround speakers and hide wiring
possibly paint bed frame to match media center
Hang up autographed memorabilia and painting
Install a shelf above bed for phone and misc items
Possibly furnish a Headboard for my seeing as it
doesn't sit flush with the wall due to a heating
vent that is there.

I will add more pictures as things get done, any suggestions or comments, especially compliments! would be great, and I'd be glad to answer any questions. Hope you guys like it, cuz I freaken' love it so far

ps. pictures are in my gallery

Gear: Panasonic TC-P42U1
Panasonic BT230
Xbox 360 Pro
WD 1 TB external (for movies and music)
Panamax PM8-AV surge protector and conditioner

Nice start there. You say it's a 5.1 set-up, but I didn't see any speakers.

Yes it is, unfortunately it took more time than I expected, and I am slowly getting the speaker wire run and the speakers mounted. All thats left are the back surrounds. I will add an updated picture with the fronts mounted. wires not hidden yet. and the sub is under my bed

Thanks Sean.

Update: Just finished mounting my panamax surge protector and completing the wire management to the best I could. Had to deal with a stripped screw today (what a pain in the a**) and I upgraded to HD directv two days ago best of all it was free also included pics of the sub and center channel since most didn't see them before. have yet to wire and mount the surrounds, but will definitely get to that sometime this week
Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend and look forward to hearing from you guys

You did a great job with re-doing your room. I must admit I laughed at the first few pictures and then noticed you making it work. I didn't really read anything at first but just viewed the pics and like I said, that’s a great job.

I think I may add some pics of my new bedroom also. I have a 7.1 which is not complete, but I have mounted my TV and speakers. I didn't run all the speaker wires thru the walls Yet...
