Nice! I only caught the first two episodes this season, but I've had a craving to watch House. This will fit the bill.

I understand its easier this way for the studios.. But yeah there are 10+ shows with only season 6, 20, 7 or 3 released and its confusing

I think it's because TV shows on Blu isn't that common yet that they release the new seasons to get more people to buy. Since some don't re buy older seasons they have on Blu-ray. But no one has the new season yet so better chance to sell more Blu's.

I was told to expect a complete series on BD like the Lost one when House is off the air. I'll probably hold out to see if that happens. But if they do give early notice on them going back and releasing season 1, then I'll probably get rid of my standard discs. Things are way too iffy on the Blu ray tv scene right now for me to feel totally confident and I really don't care to have 1 or 2 seasons in HD of, say, an 8 season show.

It would say that this is, at the very least, a good sign that they plan to bring all of the seasons to BD (however plans do seem to change).

very good show. i don't like buying blus mid seasons tho. i have the same problem with the bones. i'll wait to at least see season 1 on blu and then buy or til the end of the show for a complete collection. think that's a long while tho since it's beeen renewed for season 7.

Exactly.

They are limiting these releases to only the current audience, which reduces sales.

I have never seen an episode of House (though I usually catch the last minute or two before 24 LOL) but someday I'd like to. If Season 1 came out on Blu I might even pick it up blind-buy. But when they do these silly "middle of the series" releases, it blocks out a whole entire section of the buying viewerbase.

I'm happy for the fans that want to watch it, but they'd get a lot more sales if they actually released it from the beginning first.

About time! It's definitely a bummer that they're releasing it on Blu-Ray in the middle of the series, but at least we know for sure that they're planning on releasing this great TV Show on Blu-Ray. That's all I want really.

First day buy for me, don't care if it ends up costing like $200. I'm buying it. =x

I could be wrong, and you guys may know something I don't but it feels like next season could be the final season. I'll try and wait it out for a complete set since I traded in my seasons 1-3 on dvd quite a while ago.
