Exclamation Three Men and a Bride. (Selleck, Gutenberg, and Danson)

Hey,

Speak of a random news:

Selleck wants a part two of Three Men and a Baby, except this time around omit the baby and add a bride.

Tom Selleck Wants to Re-Team with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg for THREE MEN AND A BRIDE

Quote:
You probably have fond memories of Three Men and a Baby, the 1987 comedy that thrust an infant into the unqualified hands of Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg. Are they fond enough that you’d be up for a sequel two decades later? Disney sure hopes so. When questioned about a potential third entry in the franchise to follow 1990’s Three Men and a Little Lady, Selleck responded,

“It is true that Disney checked my availability. And I know they checked Ted’s and Steve’s, and then had a script written, I think tentatively called Three Men and a Bride, which kind of says it all.”

If I recall, Guttenberg mentioned the possibility that “Bride” would be affixed to “Three Men and a . . .” awhile back. It’s definitely an interesting choice in brand to revisit — as long as they get Leonard Nimoy, who directed the first film, back on board.
Video Interview.

Enjoy.

Very random. I think the world could do without this.

Actually this is would be part three. As mentioned there was already the sequel Three Men and a Little Lady. Anyways, yes it is very random, I saw the original first film about 6 months ago for the first time since I was a little kid. It's was alright, but it's strange that these three guys would want to go back to it, after so long and considering what their careers are like now.

Which would explain why they would want this: to get back in the spotlight. Hey, if Betty White can make a comeback...

Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing these guys again.

I liked the original don't get me wrong. But I think after all these years I would be in shock if it would interest a new fan base compared to us.

Selleck's career is just fine, he's consistently working and has a new show premiering in the fall called "Blue Bloods." Danson was very popular again after Damages, and is great on Bored to Death which he is still on. Guttenburg just showed up 2 weeks ago on an episode of "Party Down" playing himself, and he's said that he's retired cause he made the money he wanted and is enjoying life without having to commute across the country to work.

This was talked about a few years ago, and I forgot all about it. I'll check it out.

If Gutenberg pulls this film off then I certainly would love to see back on the new Police Academy.

I'd be in for it, and like Blu-Benny said, it's a logical sequel. She'd easily be old enough to get married now.

I'd be down. It'd probably mean we'd get the first two on blu-ray too, so an added bonus. I sat out for the DVD releases.

The wife and I thoroughly enjoy the first two so we would see this quite happily. This series can go on forever with sequels every few years.

Honestly I think this would be a well timed sequel. The idea of following up with them 20 years down the line is a great one.
