Not sure who'd want them but they're still out there. Wifey thinks its pretty messed up that they went from supporting both to just hd dud.

well I know for a fact that my store...(Best Buy) got them in, but were told not to sell them a few days before their release and they were sent back.
Not like it was much of a loss tho. I loved Ferrell on SNL and Old School...but his recent movies (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory) have all sucked.

It's not important that the movie is good or bad. It's important to tell the world that Paramount are a bunch of lying bastards, that sold their souls for money, not a better standalone attach rate. I even feel that their still sending out old stock off Blu titles, that were manufactured before their sellout to DUD. Each time that one of these copies show up on E Bay, is an embarasment to Paramount, Microsoft and Toshiba. It's a knife in the ribs to the HD DUD trolls, who spout the party line. Let's see how long it takes for more of these to appear.

I wouldn't even pay $55 for Transformers on Blu, and I am a big Transformer fan....Well maybe I would for that, but not for BOG.

I personally wouldn't pay more than $20.00 gor Blades of Glory. Zodiac I would have paid $30.00 but this price gauging is ridiculous

Thanks for this thread. Just when I finally got the image of this movie out of my mind, it pops back up. Kinda like flippin' herpes. It only appears to be gone, but comes back when you least expect it.

The upc in the picture does match the blu-ray version of Blades of Glory. An ok movie and really only worth renting but not owning.

Edit: I wonder why the person did not use the upc to list the auction, they listed under DVD. I searched the internet for a while but could only find out when I logged into Ebay and entered the upc to verify it:

Movie description
Two comedic heavy hitters, Will Ferrell (ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY) and Jon Heder (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE), join forces to push the boundaries of slapstick with their ice-skating farce, BLADES OF GLORY. Rival skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Heder) begrudgingly set out to attempt a historical comeback in the pair-skating program after being banned in the men’s figure skating category after an unsportsmanlike scuffle. MacElroy’s former coach (Craig T. Nelson) provides them with the tough-love coaching they so desperately need. Despite their absurdity, the duo aren’t previous award winners for nothing, and their combined talent threatens the position of fellow American skating champions--brother and sister pair-skating team Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg, who are played by real-life husband and wife Will Arnett (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT) and Amy Poehler (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE). But while Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg may turn on the charm for their adoring public, they reveal their true colors as they connive to sabotage Michaels and MacElroy in their efforts to regain the championship. Ferrell's turn as the loud-talking, ego-swelling, hard-partying sex-addict skater is an abrasive and shrilling contrast to Heder’s innocent, cherub-faced prodigal son. That is called Shill Bidding and is illegal. If he gets caught he could get banned from Ebay. But it could really be someone new trying to bid on it or someone else trying to be an ass (HD DVD person) by driving up the price and having no intention of paying for it.
