Rock Band is now $249.99 from Amazon third party seller - Blu-ray Forum

Rock Band

What's up with that price on Amazon. I called my Gamestop to see if I still get it for $169.99 since that's what I pre-ordered it at and they said that's still the price in their system. Does anyone know why Amazon has their price hiked up so high?

EDIT: Looks like it's a third party seller...sorry for the misinformation.

They do that if their pre-orders outsell their allotment, that way there are not a lot of unhappy people with a message from Amazon stating that it is backordered.

Wow, that $80 more than list. I pre-order at Gamestop for $169. They also list a PS2 Special Edition? I thought it was only for the 360/PS3 and the wii version might come next year.
