Matrix trilogy would be sweet and so would V for Vendetta. Would love to see Kill Bill and Hero on Blu-ray sometime.

Is there a reason Warner has not released the Matrix on blu?

One that I hope comes out in '08 is True Lies from Fox. This one definitely deserves the Blu-ray treatment!

For some reason this still hasn't even seen a decent release on DVD. I love this movie, I'd buy it in an instant.

You're right, the DVD is not even in anamorphic widescreen. I would also buy this one in a heartbeat! Here's hoping Fox releases this one soon!

Yah. Strange treatment from the Studio regarding True Lies. Its been given so little respect in DVD treatment that its almost an underground film. True Lies is far too out of the mainstream market for such an awesome film.

I'll add Peter Pan, Jungle book and Beauty and the Beast for 2008 releases.

I think with this new Ghostbusters game announced for Fall 2008, that will be Sony's best chance to cash in on Ghostbusters. Heck - maybe they'll offer some sort of discount if you buy both (would be a good way to get some PS3 owners to buy some blu)

And ya - what is up with True Lies - I've been dying for a decent release of that movie. I want to buy this film, but the studio just hasn't given me a real option to yet

Hey!! A couple of those titles are Universal and one is Paramount. I sure hope they get it together. But, I like the titles listed too!

We can scratch Paramount titles for 2008, but after Warner drops HD DVD next year, Universal will be waiting in the wings!!!

I think it's La Femme Nikita, or just Nikita. Are you referring to the 1990 release (France/Italy) or the 1997 (Canada) ???.

Guess all you True Lies fans just have not been in the game long enough. Since the LD they did was great.

I would love Ghostbusters on Blu-Ray, but I am sure I read somewhere there could be a problem bringing it over to High def, can't be sure now, but I think I did read that.

I have no predictions, I just want to see movies pumped out on a greater scale, overwhelm the competition with a library so impressive it's even more of a no brainer for the average consumer.

Jaws would be cool, and possible too, if Dreamworks goes back to Universal as it seems they might... Part of the deal might (hopefully?) be working with Spielberg to produce HD versions of some of his movies. And of course they'd be at least dual-format (possibly this would push Universal to neutral overall?)

I would think they would start with a bigger and more recent series though... say, the Jurassic Park trilogy...?

I suspect it has something to do with their wanting to release it with the special features that only profile 1.1 would allow. I suspect we'll see it arrive early in 2008.
