Read a rumor about Bioshock on PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

I know it's a rumor so take what you will from it but if it does appear on PS3 it would be a great thing for PS3 owners. I have this on the 360 and it is an excellent game.

P.S. Please don't turn this into a Microsoft/360 bashfest because of the "moneyhat" line in the quote. MS is not the only one who does this to get exclusivity. Save the bashing for the other multiple MS bashing threads out there.

That would be awesome, but still it's just a rumor. Ken Levine (the mastermind of the game) himself has said no to the PS3. But playing this on the PS3 would be great because of no AA problems like on the PC, which is the one I play.

2k denies these rumors over, and over, and over, and over...and over. Everytime they come out, 2k says it is not so. I would imagine that this game will stay exclusive to Xbox 360. Microsoft seems to make iron clad contracts and if they did sign an exclusive deal with them, then you will not see it go anywhere else...at least for now.

its Microsofts ver. of the "metal gear solid :4 is going to be on the xbox360"

i think the playstation 3 "fans" are just doing it to get back at the XBOX360 fans for that whole "just so you know MGS:4 will be put on the xbox360" and there will be no reason to own a playstation 3 because MGS:4 AND FINAL FANTASY XIII is all the playstation 3 has....or "one down 2 more to go ..by that TEAMXBOX trouble starter..

I finished that game and really think that game is awesome!!!
a (very?) quick ending maybe, but awesome!
I don't think I'll buy it again but at least, I will give it a try

bioshock will go down as one of this generations greatest games.

but believe me when I say we'll never see it on the ps3.

I could understand caring a little about this if bioshock wasnt already available on the PC, but it is so its a moot point.

Not everyone has a powerful PC. Some are console gamers only so it is a moot point.

the company came out recently and said they are not going to release it on ps3. No Bioshock for us. I read it recently in EGM or Gameinformer cant remember which but they put the rumor to rest

Agreed, it's one of the 360's 3 crucial games (Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears).

The 360 is capable. I have only had one slow down with it.. last about 10 seconds though lol.. was in the middle of fight. I died
