I just wanted to say that I waited till yesterday to buy shooter on blu ray and actually found one at suncoast which is awsome considering they hardly exist in blu ray anymore...... Stinking paramount little did they know that blu ray would sneak a blow in on something that was suppose to be pulled from the selves.

it was never suppose to be pulled from the shelves....stores would sell the remaining stock they had and that would be it.

Yesterday I picked it up at my favorite record store in the world...AMEOBA Records in L.A. for 19.99. They actually had 3 copies of it there. I almost picked up 2 so I could sell one on ebay for 80 bucks! Maybe next time!

Id love to get shooter on blu but there is no way Id pay more than $35. I guess I have gotten used to blu's for $20 since we get them at employee discount.

But if I see one around or a member can picking one up for me sure id pay $35 since I hear it's a great movie

My b/f works for Magnolia and you can get anywhere from $5-6 off blu's

Last time i was at Futureshop and Bestbuy in Toronto there were about 4 copies in each store.

moretonbay's site has it for $35.99 i believe until stock runs out

and i think the sale is still active so you might get the 20% off or whatever it is.

This is the one Paramount BD I never see any more in stores(I do see lots of Disturbia though). This is already fetching $50-75 regularly on Amazon Marketplace.

Its a great movie and looks fab. I got mine for $19.00 and have gotten most of my movies from Willow Video in Langley B.C.

Mretonbayblu-ray.com has some more in stock for 35.99. Tomorrow is the last day you can get it for 20% off which comes out to 28.79. This is the only place that I know of that has them in stock but only for a limited time since they ran out before and got some more stock in until stock runs out.

Is it just in the US Shooter has been withdrawn on Blu-Ray?

I've read a few threads on various boards that imply its really difficult to source, yet its on sale in the UK (where i live) for £11.99 ($23.00).

It's a Paramount title so they can't make anymore for Blu until their exclusivity is over. The movie was alright, but I don't understand why anyone would want to pay $80 for it. I passed on it several times...maybe it would be fun owning it as an OOP title, but I can wait until they come back.

Was Danny Glover supposed to have a lisp in this movie?? It almost sounds like he had a stroke in the past. Poor guy, I hope that was part of his character.
