Default If Paramount was still a Gulf + Western Company

G'day,

I know this is out of left field but I'd be interested to see what people think. Does anyone think that if Paramount was still a Gulf + Western company today that things may have been different? That they'd still be Blu-ray supporters?

Then there would be more quality movies coming from Universal?

And we would have the possibility to own The Bourne Trilogy on Blu.

From talking with the Panasonic folks, they got a great price for Universal and sold it at a nice profit. GE probably wishes they could say the same.
