Default Profiles and their meanings

Alright, so I've done a lot of searching on the web for what each profile is, so hopefully someone here can tell me if I am right.

Profile 1.0 (most current players)
With this, you will not be able to watch the advanced features and PIP content.

Profile 1.1
Uses internal memory and will allow you to watch advanced features and PIP. Also allows you to bookmark scenes (which the PS3 already does).

Profile 1.2
Same as 1.1, but also includes the decoding of all audio codecs.

Profile 2.0
Same as 1.2, but also includes internet connectivity.


Do I have all of that basically right?

Mmmm, close, but no cigar Player profiles have no relationship with audio codecs. See Richard Paul's excellent thread here:
