Question for Sony BDP-S1 player

does it supports True HD and DTS HD?

The Sony BDP-S1 features the new surround sound and two-channel audio processing formats: Dolby® Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD lossless (2-ch.), DTS® and DTS-HD lossless as well as uncompressed multi-channel PCM, standard Dolby Digital, and DTS 5.1.

I also noted however that it does not play audio CD's for what it's worth.

"DTS-HD lossless" is DTS-HDMA (Master Audio) -- but I don't think the S1 can decode DTS-HD or DTS-HDMA, or send it via bitsream for that matter -- where is that review from?

Since both codec’s are not mandatory it does not do pass-through of the bitstream. I stand corrected

2 ch lossless audio???? How can I experience full surround sound with only 2 speakers????
