No forgiveness for Toshiba - Blu-ray Forum

I was thinking when this war is over, I plan to get any movies I want on Blu, including Paramount and Universal because in the end it's the Blu sales that will show them their own mistake.

But I don't plan to forgive Toshiba any time soon. I mean even when this war is over I'll be very careful to NOT buy anything Toshiba, be it Players, Tv's or anything else because they are the real culprits behind this war

Fortunately, the quality of the Toshiba Regza TVs is inferior enough to the new Sony, Pioneer and Panasonic models that I wouldn't consider owning them in any case.

Actually, if you read roughlydrafted.com, the Toshiba is a pawn of MSFT in their drive to destroy HD disc formats in favour of download media. MSFT bribed Toshiba into continuing the war when they were about to give up long ago and join the BDA.

I always find it funny that someone will blacklist a company for something silly. They didn't take something of value to you, it's just electronics and a movie format...nothing less, nothing more.

Hey, I still like Sony even though I've had some bad experiences with their electronics (minus the PS1/2/3, which have been awesome).
