The shining automatically gets high ratings because of Kubrick. The shining is ok but surely not terrifying at all. Never did i once say this is scary and i get scared vary easily. IMO The shining is the most realistic scary movie ever made but Halloween is far more entertaining. Jack Nicholson is just a crazy bastard a simple 9mm would straighten him out

Halloween was fun the true pinnacle of Slasher Movies.

I really like, and own both movies, but in my opinion, the Shining edges out Halloween.
