I watched 5 horror movies this week, [REC], The Mist, Halloween, Eden Lake and Evil Dead 2.

Now 3 of those movies I found scary, and 2 of them not, yet I would say all of them (4 out of 5 at least) are good horror movies.

I won't tell you which ones though, you can guess

well this is what i think YOU thought:

Scary: REC, Eden Lake, Evil Dead 2

I found REC, The Mist and Evil Dead 2 scary (love Evil Dead for a long time though)

The only one I really disliked was Eden Lake.

gotcha... yea ive never seen Eden Lake...The Mist is one of my favorite newer horror movies but i dont remember it being really scary... i was more intrigued as to what was going on and a lot of the movie was based around the drama/human behavior of people during moments of panic...and then the end of the movie! forget about it!

thats what topped it off for me!

REC i found nothing special... and well... you know about Halloween lol

edit: i havent seen the evil deads yet! this october

I didn't find The Mist that scary, it just had enough to make me feel dread on screen. REC I thought was very effective, and one of the best uses of the Handheld cams ever, always in front of the action, never hiding infront or behind the actor, it was always you getting attacked. Evil Dead 2 isn't really scary but it has a lot of effective moments.

Halloween has always been my fav Horror movie.

Can't really remember The Shining all that well but remember liking it tho.
