I wonder if they just couldn't get it out in time for the 1.0 deadline (it was likely a built-in S300 right?) so they have to rework it for 1.1?

Do you really want a HTiB from Sony though? There are better options out there for audio.

My wife wants the little speakers for the living room..at a reasonable price. A decent HTiB using their digital amps would be appealing to us. The current models are close but don't quite hit the mark on the input side..at least yet.

I guess I'm not a fan of Sony's audio electronics. But there's a market for everyone I guess.

It's not so much that I'd buy it, but it would be one more area for Blu to dominate in, plus it would prod the others to release one.

Well the maggies I want to get aren't going to fly in the living room...but the basement home theater might get away with them .. I mean how can she say no after I give her what she really wants

One of the reasons I got the Anthem amp was to have lots of power for the maggies...I'm a patient man..it's been a few years since we got the Anthem.
