Best Sounding Action Movie on Blu? - Blu-ray Forum

I am new to BluRay and have acquired the following titles:
Hairspray for my Wife

<
Rescue Dawn
Superbad
Pirates 3

My question is i want to try the sound out and was wondering what movie is the best sounding action movie. I liked the big thuds on rescue dawn when he was in the house in LAOS.

In other movies that would grab my attention?

Black Hawk Down is very very good the POTC's are great,

Troy: Director's Cut
300
Day after tomorrow (dont know if its really an action movie but the audio/PQ rock)
any one of the spideys

It may not be a good movie, but Stealth has some of the best sound I have ever heard. The mixing and directionality is expertly done as well. I think it puts POTC in its place even though that was a good soundtrack too!

300- Stealth- Casino Royal- Spiderman 2.3- The Island- Sunshine- Replacement Killers- Die Hard 4-Underworld Evolution, are just some of the few that sounds great :P

THey said it before.... Live free of Die Hard... will surely give your system a run for it's money!!! Hope you have a good setup, and dont mess anything up.... this flick is pretty powerfull!

Well i have die hard 4 on SD-DVD because the blu is PG-13 is it still worth getting because of the sound? Do you guys overlook the fact it is PG-13 and not the unrated V. ?
