It's better to buy the first two on HD DVD since no DNR was applied. Both The Mummy and The Mummy Returns have noticeable DNR on BD and of course The Dragon Emperor looks and sounds good, but it is a mediocre film.

USA Not a trilogy

I've seen all 3, and the Scorpion King. I will NOT buy this set for the simple fact that this is not a TRUE trilogy!!

First of all, the third one does not pick-up where the second left off, AND, secondly it's an entirely different MUMMY!! Thereby making it its own story altogether.

Thus, I will purchase the first 3(Mummy, Mummy Returns, Scorpion King) separately and consider the possibility of buying the last one sometime in the future.

Not sure of the release date, but if you look back a few years, you find the original Trilogy release on DVD included: Mummy, Mummy Returns, Scorpion King!

Love the first two, naturally. Have fond memories of watching them in my late high school years.

The third one's rather different and took a couple of viewings to fully appreciate.

I enjoyed all 3 and payed about $10-15 for each one. For this price I'd definitely pick it up.

I canceled my AMZ order last night. I know it's a steal, but I don't think I'll be watching it anytime soon. Maybe I'm making a huge mistake, but I can use the $16 for a better BD.

Very huge mistake, very.

These movies are extremely fun and have one of the highest rewatchability factors ever.

Its extremely cheap for the whole set but we didnt care enough for these films to add them to the collection. Even at $16 bucks - we'll never watch them so whats the point? Sure, they have some fun stuff in them but there isnt any endearing, long-term value to them, IMO.
